Celebi is a
Psychic Type and
Grass Type Pokémon originally from the Johto region (Generation II) . Celebi is a Pokémon that does not evolve, meaning any candy gained can only be used to power-up the Pokémon or unlock a 2nd charged move.
It is one of the few mythical Pokémon currently obtainable in the game.
Obtaining[]
Celebi can be captured by completing the series of Special Research tasks in A Ripple in Time. This special research focuses on the discovery and research of Celebi, until the player is able to capture it.
Attacks[]
Like other Pokémon, Celebi can learn different Fast Moves and Charged Moves. These moves each interact differently as described below.

Celebi has the ability to learn two Fast Moves. These Fast Moves are known when caught or can be learned through the use of a Fast TM.

- The special research task was made available August 16, 2018. Before this, Celebi was featured as a reward during Pokémon GO Fest 2018.
- Celebi will always break free of the first two balls the player successfully lands. The 3rd throw will successfully catch it.
