Espeon is a
Psychic Type Pokémon originally from the Johto region (Generation II) . Espeon is a Pokémon that does not evolve, meaning any candy gained can only be used to power-up the Pokémon or unlock a 2nd charged move.
Espeon is one of the more unique Eeveelutions as it requires more than just candy to evolve.
Evolution[]
To evolve Eevee into an Espeon, it must be added as the player's buddy Pokémon and be walked 10km. While it is still the buddy Pokémon, it has to be evolved during the day to evolve into an Espeon. If Eevee is evolved during the night, it will instead evolve into Umbreon.

Naming an Eevee "Sakura" and then evolving it makes the Eevee evolve into Espeon. This trick works during any time of the day. You can only evolve an Eevee this way once.
