There are many different items in Pokémon GO. Trainers receive items as rewards for leveling up, visiting PokéStops, or by purchasing them through the Shop with PokéCoins.
A Trainer can have up to 350 items at the start of the game. The amount of items that can be carried can be increased by 50 by purchasing the Bag Upgrade from the Shop for 200. This can be done up to a maximum of 1000.
Poké Balls[]
Poké Balls are one of the most essential items in Pokémon GO. This type of item is used to capture Pokémon through encounters. Each ball has a unique catch rate, with Poké Balls being the lowest, and Ultra Balls having the best catch rate.

Healing items[]
Healing items can refer to Potions, which heal your Pokémon's HP, or Revives, which revive a fainted Pokémon. There are currently four types of potions and two types of revives in the game.
