A Lucky Egg a type of utility item available to the player. It allows for the player to gain double experience points from activities for 30 minutes. Lucky Eggs are usually only available through the Shop, and are less commonly received through leveling up. A counter of remaining time for the XP bonus is shown in the top right of the main window while active.
Usage[]
Lucky Eggs are used to double the experience gained from performing actions inside of Pokémon GO. This doubles the reward from capturing and evolving Pokémon, hatching eggs, participating in raid battles, and nearly every other activity.
Obtaining[]
The Lucky Egg is exclusively a level-up reward and Shop item in Pokémon GO. Below are methods on how to obtain Lucky Eggs.
- Shop: Lucky Eggs can be purchased through the shop. They are sold in bundles and occasionally in featured boxes.
