Poké Ball
Details

Poké Balls are the most basic and essential trainer tool and are used to capture Pokémon in the wild.

Use

To catch a Pokémon, the player must launch the Poké Ball towards the Pokémon on the screen. There are several different factors that come into play when catching a Pokémon. When holding a Poké Ball, a ring will appear around the wild Pokémon. The inner ring will get smaller slowly and then reset. In order to maximize the chances of capturing the Pokémon, the trainer must throw a Poké Ball inside of the inner ring at the Pokémon. For an even higher chance, spinning it before throwing provides a curve ball bonus.
