Pokémon GO Plus is a companion device that connects to your phone over Bluetooth.[1]

The button will turn blue if you pass a PokéStop, green if you encounter a Pokémon you have encountered before, and yellow if you encounter a new Pokémon. Pressing the button on the Pokémon GO Plus will swipe the PokéStop or use a Poké Ball to catch a Pokémon. If the Pokémon escapes from the first Poké Ball thrown, it will run away, and the Pokémon GO Plus will flash red.
