Tyranitar is a Rock Type and Ground Type Pokémon originally from the Johto region (Generation II). Tyranitar is a Pokémon that does not evolve, meaning any candy gained can only be used to power-up the Pokémon or unlock a 2nd charged move. Tyranitar can be obtained by evolving Pupitar and by finding it very rarely in the wild.
Evolution
To evolve, Larvitar requires 25 to evolve into Pupitar. Pupitar evolves further, which requires 100 to evolve into Tyranitar.
